It's the last week of Uni and all my work is due within the next two weeks..........

- Studio work is coming along well and our group is getting along very well. Only the touch ups of our asignment need to be done.

- DIS i need to finish the exteriour design and add all the camera angles.

- Systems assignments is due on friday and i know nothing about psuedo code

- VCM is a breeze

Wow what a week............. I saw a car flip up in the air and and land on it's roof, Ludicruis has a new album out and it's my 18 months with my girlfirend!! But on top of all that uni work is very overcrowding at the moment. Our studio group at the moment is working very effeciently and getting everything done at the right time. I am finding that working in this group is lifting the work load of my back alot as i don't need to put in extra work for the slackers.

I have learnt quite a few things with flash in the process of completing the new studio assignment. It's amazing how much i have learnt in the space of of 6 months!

I also have been searching around for some interesting websites. I have found one called "Happy tree friends." This site is based on a cartoon and there are many different episodes that you can download and see. I download them when im bored or just need something to laugh at as they are hilarious. The actual set out of the site actually isn't that bad and the colour scheme they have used matches the cartoon but teenage approach it is going for. All the episodes have been made using flash and it is amazing to see how talented some people are with using flash.

The holidays are now over.............. I have worked hard over the holidays with assignments but have seem to be going not as far as i expected. I haven't started studying for exams yet as i have a huge workload to concentrate on.

My holidays on the other hand have been outrageous....i have gotten up to the wildest things. And i will be remembering alot of the activities that took place!

Holidays have started and i am working hard to get my assignments completed.......... The studio assignment is coming along well as we are all putting in alot of effort. I have created an eye in 3d studio max and then inserted it into flash. I have now animated it so it spins around in a circle. I am also working on the design specifcation and have come up with a very professional understanding of how our eye enhancment works.

Other assignments are coming along well also, i have to construct the interior and the exterior of a house and i am getting a good understanding of the porgram now. VCM is always a bit of a headache but yet again i am finding it very easy to complete the work.

A few more assignments have been completed and the holidays are on it's way........................But we have work to do over the holidays so it's not gonna be much of a break. For studio we have to work over the holidays as our assignment needs to be worked on. We are gonna split our team of four into 2 groups as over the holidays their will be two things to work on: -
- Interface
- Flash animation

Also one of us would have to work on completing the design specification!!

I have now completed the systems assignment and seem to be getting all my work in on time. The studio assignment we are working on is slowly, slowly becoming more difficult during the week. I am in the middle of constructing a human eye using 'Studio Max' and i am finding it a bit of a challenge. This is good though as i am setting tasks for myslef that i can accomplish. And by doing this i am learning more and gradually understanding more about the software.

It is the second last week before the break and assginments are coming to an end. I have nearly finished systems and 3D and am working on more work for VCM. The assignment i am really keen on starting is the assignment three for Studio. Our idea has skyrocketed and our planning and a brainstorming is making our group come together.

I heard a song that i can kind of relate to it's called "Eye of the storm" by 1200 techniques. Their style of Austrlian hip-hop is similar to ours in a way.

Our idea for assignment three has had some minor changes and our idea now is that we are focusing on enhancing sight. It is going to be a mixture of DNA and technology. You get an eye scan and they then find out the problems you may have in the future. Your eyes get cloned and also they become more advanced. Features may be added like x-ray vision, different eye colour, binocular vision and many other features. We will be focusing on enhancing other senses like feel, touch, smell, and taste as our future goals of our company.

Our company name is for the product might be 'Mercury X' as our product is called 'Vision X'

Assignment three was handed to us on wednesday. It sounds quite interesting as we get to work with the future and their fore what we choose can't be wrong.

What our group has chosen to focus on is the human body mainly focusing on the head. Our idea is at the age of 10 to 18 you get a full body scan and htis can tell what future desease or problems that may occur with your body in the future. They then clone your body part that needs to be focused on and can make it better for you and add some slight changes. For example seeing we are focusing on the head if you are going to have problems with your sight in the future then they can clone your eyes and give you better vision and also change the colour of them. But thats just the start as they can also give you x-ray vision and other new features. We are going to focus on senses such as sight, taste, smell and hear.

Our group has also changed due to difficulties and our new group member is Emily.............This in a way takes the work load of the rest of the groups back as their are no slackers left.

Other subjects at the moment are becoming a bit of a headache but again i am keeping myself on track. Here is some subject information: -

- Creating three objects using Studio Max the three object i will be creating are a wine glass, micorphone with a stand and a couch with foot cushions.
- I also have complete a detailed Visual diary for it.

SYSTEMS
- Group assignment about Entity relationship diagrams and Data flow diagrams

VCM
- Line assessment in visual diary
- Century posters (my dates are 1900's 1800's and 1600's)

I've takin a bit of a break from blogger but i have returned for an extra special entry..... It's now week 7 and our group has completed and successfully presented the magor e-commerce site. I presented with alot of confidence and creativity. The final result of our webpage was very professional looking and was executed with alot of knowledge. The Hip-hop 'Guru' of th site was me as i know alot about the Australian hip-hop industry. Overall most of our group worked really well together and got it completed by the due date.

Now a new group assignment will start and i am confident to jump straight into it as now i have learnt alot more then i used to know about "Webpages." Things that i did learn from completing this e-commerce site was how to insert an 'iframe', a bit about coding, design elements and how to use tables in dreameaver to your advantage!

E-commerce, e-commerce, ecommerce............................. In todays double lesson for studio our group will have to knuckle down and complete the remainding of our web site! Their is quite alot left to do in todays double lesson. We have to enter all the information, insert all the images and complete all the links. Also hopefully by the end of todays double lesson we can get an understanding and visual feel of how our database is going to work!

Our e-commerce site for studio is going to have a side panel with a scroll bar, this is going to be used a news updating panel. I went on the net and found out how to use 'iframes' and i inserted the scroll bar on the right hand side of the page. By experimenting with new things i have taught myself quite alot of coding!

lalalalalalalal.........I'm bored and i'm confused and i can't be bothered!!!!!!!! Uni has actually been exciting the last couple of weeks and i have been working like a steam train.

It's been a sad week for me as i found out the other day that a mate of mine has passed away...........i don't know how i will get back on track with uni but im sure i'l find a way!!

I have started to get the hang of how to modify this blogger. I have taught myself a bit of coding and learnt how it basically works and now i can edit the way it looks...........

Our studio group has just started to get on track with the developement of our hip-hop e-commerce site. Our progress at the moment is excellent but alot more needs to be done. I am having a bit of trouble trying to understand the database side of the project but im sure research will help me.

Magazine review
The Source
The issue i read was the June edition. I found this months issue pretty flat so i decided to read the june updates. It was interesting as it listed the top 50 Hip-Hop artists from 1988 to 2003 (Of course Tupac Shakur was number 1). It also had a huge article about the Black Eyed Peas who have just released their second album called 'Elefunk!' The article was the main reason i read the magazine but i wasn't to impressed by the way they portrayed their new release. I rate the edition a 7/10 as it was a bit of loose end.

This site is based on one of the best designers 'Marc Newson!' His site shows his basic work and some of his more news projects. The layout of the site is very modern and the colours used are whites, greys and oranges The site has a very unusual navagation system. The navagtion system of the site is very easy yo use and user friendly.

The fault of this site is that most of the links and images take quite of alot of time to load and can get very frustating.
